Live and Learn?Your gentleman's ways, your fancy dark ties--  You're trying to live through your halfhearted lies.  Caring for few but pretending real well,  you hold up just fine but it's starting to tell.   
Your loyalties lie in the people back home.  Aren't new friends still silver and old ones are gold?  Love is shared, and you just trade it around.  Is it worth it to buy what I should have just found? Live and Learn?

Well... this is my first journal entry here. I suppose an introduction is due.

I usually write a lot of fiction and dabble in other kinds of visual art, but recently, I found a desire to express myself in a more formal manner. So here I am, writing poetry.

Hopefully, I'll meet some great people (and definitely catch up to a few I already know)!

PS: If anyone is interested in seeing my other work, you're welcome to send me a note, and I'll share it with you. Keep in mind that most of it is not as serious as the things I will be posting here, but I always appreciate some good advice.
